should i ask or should i stay oblivious

i have my annual dr appointment in a few weeks. usually these aren't a big deal for me as for some crazy reason, i tend to be physically healthy. (other than the overweight part - but i'm working on that.) somehow i've avoiding diabetes, arthritis, and cancer which all run in my family (knock on wood... or a forest for that matter!). But this time i'm going to finally remember to ask about this thing on my leg.

It's not really a sun spot, but it kind of looks like one. it's hard and has been there for i guess 2 years now? i don't remember when it showed up... but i know it bugs me. i also want to ask her about some of the sun spots i have.. i have one on the arch of my foot - one of the few places i've never EVER been sun burned... and it's kind of on the bottom so it's never really even tanned! the ones on my face - make sense... but i digress. it's that bump on my leg that's bugging me. at first i thought it was a bug bite - but it's not. i've poked it and it kind of feels like dead skin.

I know it's likely nothing, but it scares me. After watching spider bites that would normally do nothing to others - send me to the hospital oozing green goo... I get worried over "bite like" things.

so... hopefully it's nothing. and hopefully it won't involve any needles!

you should definitely show your dr. Hopefully, its nothing but at least you'll have the peice of mind. good luck! I dread routine doctor's visits too!

yeah, sometimes you don't want to ask at the risk of sounding silly. But I've had a small mole once that I was shy to ask about and I found out later that it may be malignant and it had to be removed! so definitely ask =)
